AE flame arresters represent the best value in flame arrester protection. The arresters  are bi-directional and can stop low, medium, and high pressure deflagrations. This design utilizes a superior element assembly that dampens the high velocities and pressures associated with deflagrations and detonations while quenching the front flame.

This flame arresters are designed to stop the propagation of confined low pressure deflagration. It is typically used for end-of-line and near-end-of-line applications when the system operating pressure is near atmospheric levels and when there is minimum probability of a flame stabilizing on the flame arrester element for an extended period. Designed with flanged connections, this arrester allows removal of the element for easy cleaning and replacement without removing the arrester body from the pipe connection.


Product Type In-line Flame Arrester:-An arrester which has been designed and tested to arrest flame fronts of varying pressures and speeds with both restricted and unrestricted protected side piping.

End-of-line Flame Arrester:-This type of flame arrester is used where the potential ignition source is located outside the vessel or flow system that is being protected. AE flame arresters are designed to allow free venting in combination with flame protection for vertical vent applications. This product is installed at the top of an atmospheric vent line or storage tank.
